UB Ellicott Welcome Center - Package #2

The Fargo Quad is a mix building holding students and staff throughout the building. The complex has been re-imagined front door entry which would welcome pedestrians into the Complex, clarify way finding into and through the area, and bring other functions such as Campus Living support staff to this hub where they can more directly engage with students. The vision is to provide a distinct entrance, with canopy, exterior gathering spaces and clearly marked pedestrian pathways to guide one into the space. Once inside, various gathering areas, office spaces and small marketplace would be found on the first floor. The plaza deck would be opened to provide daylighting and visual access between floors, and a new interior stair would provide direct pedestrian access between these two primary levels of the complex. Bidding Requirements: All bidders are required to complete and submit the Contractor's Prequalification prior to submission of their bid. All bids shall remain firm & effective for 45 days from date of opening thereof. Required minimum wage rate to be paid. See Specs. Notice of Affirmative Action required.
