Western Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant
Regional Wastewater conveyance and treatment plant project for four (4) communities including: 1) Town of Marion, NY 2) Town of Walworth, NY 3) Town of Macedon, NY and 4) Village of Palmyra, NY. The project includes the decommissioning of each municipalities WWTP and converting Marion, Walworth and Macedon into Pump Stations (with forcemains). A new Regional WWTP will be constructed directly to the West of the existing Palmyra, NY WWTP sized to treat raw wastewater from all communities. The project will be owned and operated by the Wayne County Water and Sewer Authority.
