The State University of New York College at Buffalo (Buffalo State College) will receive sealed bids for project number L03157 titled Site Preparation and Foundation Construction for Sculpture at Burchfield Penney Art Center until 11:00 am. local time on 4/7/2021 at Cleveland Hall Room 406, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be hand delivered or mailed to Attn: Penny Reusch, Cleveland Hall Room 406, Buffalo State College, 1300 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo NY 14222. Proposals that are mailed should be sent “Return Receipt Requested”
All work on this Contract is to be completed within seventy (70) calendar days, starting ten (10) days after the contract approval date of the State University of New York.
Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at Construction Industry Employers Association, 2660 William St. Buffalo, NY 14227.

A Pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held at Buffalo State College on 3/19/2021 at 1:30 pm with all contractors assembled at The Burchfield Penney Art Center main entrance located on Rockwell Road. Failure to attend will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project.
Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
