It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the proposal is delivered before the bid opening and bidders are highly encouraged to mail the sealed proposals accordingly to allow for delivery on or prior to Tuesday May 5, 2020. It is also highly encouraged that bidders track delivery of their mailed proposals and use appropriate priority mail as necessary. City of Buffalo staff is available to sign for deliveries on standard business days Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to Noon. No in-person deliveries will be accepted on any day for this bid.
Bids will be opened by City of Buffalo Representatives on WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, in-person attendance at the bid opening will not be permitted; however, bids will be opened via video/phone conference call. Bidder representatives can view the public bid opening by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 5:00 pm to be added to the meeting invitation. An updated meeting invitation will be sent prior to the bid opening Wednesday, May 6, 2020 to all that request to be added.

If you do not have internet access or have questions about ordering from the website, please contact Avalon Document Services at (716) 995-7777. Proposal documents may be obtained from Avalon Document Services, 741 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203, upon a non-refundable payment of FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($58.00) per set. Payment can be submitted only by company check or money order made payable to the City of Buffalo, Dept. of Public Works, Parks and Streets. NO CASH AND NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
